The villagers have resisted the trappings of Western culture and continue to embrace a subsistence way of life dominated by their belief in "Kastom" meaning custom or traditions. This tour allows guests a brief and interesting insight into the daily life of a local tribe.

Yasur Volcano Evening Tour

We will spend one evening climing Yasur Volcano while on Tanna Island!!! Yasur is one of the world's most active volcanoes. It is known as the Lighthouse of the Pacific because of its regular eruptions for hundreds of years. The volcano is located on Tanna Island in southern Vanuatu. It lies on a subduction zone at the boundary of the Indo-Australia and Pacific tectonic plates.

Upon arrival on Espiritu Santo, we will spend the first three days and two nights on a trek through different villages. The best way to experience and learn the ni-Vanuatu (Vanuatu people) normal way of life, their culture while getting a little fitter like they are. Stay at their local hut, sleep on the sleeping bag, eat their local lap lap (wrapped food in leaves, then cooked in the ground), have cold showers outside, experience a genuine Kava ceremony (not like normal Kava bar in town), sing along with their string band…. with 3 days trekking. Millennium Cave tour, Blue Pool tour, and Bamboo river tour.
