It all started in November when Jeanna contacted me via MySpace (I know cheesy). She just wanted to say hi and see how everything was going. We sent messages back and forth with increasing frequency. This led to weekly phone conversations which evolved into daily conversations. Throughout this whole process neither Jeanna nor I wanted a relationship. We both were just having fun reconnecting with an old friend. Little did either one of us realize God was laying the foundation that we would build the rest of our lives on. On Valentines Day I sent her a dozen roses. My thought was to brighten her day up and make Valentines a little more special; however, the flower shop mixed the names up and delivered them to Jeanna Wright, (foreshadowing maybe). After work that day she called me wondering about my intentions. We laughed about it and started talking. Six hours later we got off the phone and I knew that my feelings were stronger than just mere friendship. It took a little more convincing though before Jeanna came to the same revelation. The day before she was to leave for Israel I drove to her parents house and we stayed up talking all night long. Her father and I took her and her mother to the airport and she flew away for 15 days. This was a very hard for both of us. We were feeling things for each other and couldn’t talk about it because she was out of the country. On Easter Sunday after church services I drove to her parents house and we both knew that there was more going on than just friendship. I ended up going to Houston that same week to be with Jeanna and her family. That Friday I mustered up all my courage and told her that I loved her. Later that night we went on our first official date. It was for lack of a better term... magical. Two days later on Sunday we went for a long walk. We found ourselves at the bay sitting by the water, where Jeanna told me that she loved me and was in love with me. It was one of the greatest days of my life. As we walked home it started to rain. We walked in the rain, splashing, playing and having a great time. Our relationship continues to grow daily through times when we pray together and talk, (even if it is over the phone). God is so amazing! Everything that Jeanna is, is perfect for me. This is how the story starts. Our happily ever after is well on it’s way.
The Engagement...on July 3rd Terry took me to the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth and proposed. I said YES!!!

We decided that we wanted to spend as much time as possible with our guests so we created a fun-filled weekend itenirary...THE READ-WRIGHT WEDDINGPALOOZA
The weekend activities kick off on Friday evening @ Four Day Weekend Improvisational Comedy Club located @ Sundance Square in Fort Worth. 312 Houston Street Ft. Worth TX 76102. We will be attening the 7:30pm show. Tickets are $20. You will need to buy them in advance at fourdayweekend.com or call (817)226-4DAY. We will be going to dinner @ PF Changs 400 Throckmorton St after the show (walking distance from the club).
On Saturday afternoon the girls will gather @ Christy Hammack's home for a lingerie shower...4012 Drexmore, Keller TX 76248 from 2:30-5:00. While the ladies are doing that, the guys will be playing a round of golf @ Rockwood Golf Course (817) 624-1771, 1851 Jacksboro Hwy, Fort Worth, TX 76114. The cost is $32.50 a round. Then we will all be dining @ 8.0 located at 111 East 3rd St. in Fort Worth and hanging out there for the evening.
